Desk top lathe

Post by 58woody »

Just picked this up for $150 CAN, works excellent for my needs. To save a good prop shaft that has sealing wear I can now cut into the carrier and recess the seal deeper and possibly get 2 oil seals if needed. Will cut threads as well.

I have a Little Machine Shop lathe. I use it all the time. I got it used with a lot of accessories and tools for a bargain price. You will wonder how you got along without one.

I had an old Craftsman lathe, it was indeed made by Atlas. It was also destroyed in my shop fire.
