Freeman Farms 2017 Photo Recap

Here is Quin in very first heat, in May with his new O'Conner Runabout.
O'Conner is strictly a hydro builder and it did take us a while to sort this out in J Runabout.

And here he is in his Hydro, still taking corners like the buoys are toxic.  He addressed this later in the year.

This is Quin running JSR in the Wally early in the season (Milton, NH)

Here is Quin in his Runabout at his first National at Grass Lake.  This is the only event we entered him in.

Here is Eli at the Nationals in his AX Hydro and AX Runabout respectively.  We were thrilled that he was able to qualify for the finale in these two events, as well as JSH & JSR

Eli at the start of heat 2 at the finals in JSR.  I think this was the next to last heat of the week, and resulted in a restart due to a pileup in the 1st turn.

Eli in a close start in JSH (I think) at Lockhaven

Eli did really well in AXR at Lockhaven, but it only lasted one heat,  He developed a huge hole in the hull just after this picture was taken.  He did well to get it to the beach without sinking.  The repair is ongoing, should be complete by Thanksgiving.  This boat is so old and delapitated, that we questioned the worth of fixing it, but love overcame reason (as it often does when boats are concerned).  At the time these three boats were 1,2,3 nationally in JSR.  Eli has fallen to 6th having run only one day in September in this class in a borrowed boat (finishing 1st).

Another JSR shot, this time in Milton, NH  (Eli and Quin swapped runabouts for this weekend only)

And the very first try at ASH, the one where Eli won by being the slowest boat in a large field.

Here's Quin carving up corner 2 at Kingston, NH at the end of the season.
