Mark 7 ? it is believe it or not a mark 5 last issue. check the peak on the band and the button and flip on the top handle. it is missing the mark 5 badge on the lower cowl.

Oh Hi Dave,

Thanks for the education! I really don't know a thing about the green tankers. I gave a Mark 7 to one of my brothers that Lee Davies gave to me. He said it had a broken crank.

interesting. no observer in boat. No vest on either kid, especially the kid. Love the 50s!!

Possibly a really light skier, in a really light boat!

Just being serious...My FIRST Merc was a Mark 5, and it did plan my 8 foot hydro--but only with me in the front cockpit and reaching back for the wheel.

I am not very surprised.  The kid is a very small boy.  He has huge skis, and the hull is fairly long.  I guess at least 12 feet.  Our Mk-5 will plane our 14' Lund with me in it!  Quiet easily with just Kevin.  We ran twin Mk-5's last year on that hull.  That was FUN!
