KF7/Mark 25 rat project

Postby chuckw » Wed Mar 28, 2018 1:19 pm

Putting together a hodgepodge of parts: Mark 25 block, KF7 crankcase, AJ32A carb, Phelon mag on a KG7 leg. Started on a squirt of gas. Thanks to Bob V for some parts for the build, as well as ebay. Just something to do while waiting for real spring in Vermont. [swearing.gif]

Stan,
You really need to acquire a 20 inch Merc.....then you'll know what Chuck is talking about. Plus,  they're easier to move around for us old guys.  [drinkingcheers.gif]

I've had several. Got only two four cylinders left in the collection. My back is much older than the rest of me! Even some of the twins are getting heavy.

Here are pics of the KF7/Mark 25 rat project and the four motors on display at the Bennington  Museum for their "Bennington Collects" exhibit. The Elto Pal I have had since I was nine years old.

It is just painted red on the cowl fasteners on the tank rim. No lower cowl on this build.
